Tapered Moulding Plane Iron Blank - 1 5/8"

Want to make your own side escapement plane, or rehab an existing one? These O1 blanks can easily be shaped to fit your needs. After rough shaping, they will need to be heat treated to hold an edge. Tapered from 1/16" to 1/8". Overall length of 8" with a 1 5/8" wide bit. Works for #17 and #18 hollow and round planes.
